Film Festivals

Today the Sundance Film Festival begins. There is also a lesser known film festival begining today in Provo called the LDS Film Festival.

Tonight my sister and I are heading down to Provo to watch the 24 hour film marathon winners to see what we will be up against for next year's competition. This years theme was Tolerance and all submissions had to feature a postcard and the line, "Sometimes I wonder . . . ." I can't wait to see what people came up with.

And since we're talking about films I thought I'd throw in another cool link about becoming an extra. Just think how cool it would be to be the guy walking in the background! And just think of all the credits you could list of movies, tv shows or commercials you're in, even if it is only your left elbow! Becoming an extra is for anyone who wants to be in movies, but doesn't want to be the center of attention (or doesn't have quite the talent to be the center of attention!).


Well sorry, it appears the extra's website "And, Action!" has disappeared. I'll try to find them--hopefully they're still around.
